About Nashville Pro Bono

The Nashville Pro Bono Program is a part of the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands. We offer free legal services to low-income and elderly clients in Davidson and Williamson counties on civil case matters. Clients are screened for eligibility and if they qualify, we try to find them the right kind of help that we can offer. Sometimes this will involve sending them to one of our many monthly legal clinics. A lot of the time, it involves us looking for a volunteer attorney in the community who would be willing to represent the client “Pro Bono”.

We work with both the Nashville and Williamson County Bar, and in return for helping our clients, we are able to keep track of the billable hours you spend helping the client and turn it into CLE credit.

Need more information? Check out our section on the Legal Aid Society’s website here or feel free to e-mail us here and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you!
